Mrs Warburton

Business Manager

I have worked at Waycroft since September 2007 when I joined the admin team as the Bursar. Prior to this I worked in three very different educational settings; a Junior School in Nailsea, a preparatory school in Clifton and a large boarding school in Clifton.

I work closely with the Executive Headteacher and three Headteachers, dealing with all things financial and Sites & Buildings. There is never a dull moment!

In my spare time I am a very ‘hands on’ grandmother to five energetic boys!

Mrs Parmenter

HR & Payroll Manager

I have been working in the Education sector since 2008 and joined Waycroft in September 2014. For three years I worked as the Office Manager in the main Waycroft office. Since 2018, I have been working as the HR & Payroll Manager across the Trust.

My job involves all aspects of recruitment, from creating adverts through to inducting all new staff into each of our academies.

I work alongside our Business Manager, preparing, checking and issuing payroll reports as well as working on all things HR related.

I am originally from Plymouth in Devon, but moved to Bristol in 1997. I live with my husband and daughter whom I love to spend time with at the weekends visiting the outdoors and going for walks in the sunshine.

Finance Officer

I have worked at Waycroft Academy since September 2004. I have had a long association with Waycroft having attending as a pupil and my son and daughter were also educated here.

I work alongside our Business Manager and the MAT Administrator dealing with finance across the MAT.

Mrs Muscat

HR & Payroll Assistant

I joined Waycroft in February 2022 after 16 years working in the Care Sector in both administrative and HR roles.

My job is assisting the Payroll Manager with all aspects of recruitment and payroll.

I have 3 children, 2 of which are currently at Waycroft. My free time is usually spent with my busy family taking them to various clubs or activities! I enjoy socialising with friends, eating out, cooking and walking our family dog Willow.

Mr Simmons

IT Technician

I am Dave Simmons, the ICT Technician across all three schools. I went to Brislington Academy for Young Gentlemen, which I left back in 1975. I had several part time jobs during my school days including a morning paper round, a bread-round at Lyons Bakery and after I left school, not knowing what I wanted to do (and I’m still not sure), 6 weeks working at Tarrs Ice-cream. I eventually started a proper job at Phoenix Assurance, where after several mergers and takeovers, I left after 27 years’ service.

I enjoy most sports and played cricket and football for Brislington. However, my body now refuses to play any sport, so I am now a spectator.

The most enjoyable part of working at Waycroft is the Children, Staff and variety of work, no day is the same. I have even been able to fix problems not resolved by turning off and back on again!
