HR & Payroll Manager

I have been working in the Education sector since 2008 and joined Waycroft in September 2014. For three years I worked as the Office Manager in the main Waycroft office. Since 2018, I have been working as the HR & Payroll Manager across the Trust.

My job involves all aspects of recruitment, from creating adverts through to inducting all new staff into each of our academies.

I work alongside our Business Manager, preparing, checking and issuing payroll reports as well as working on all things HR related.

I am originally from Plymouth in Devon, but moved to Bristol in 1997. I live with my husband and daughter whom I love to spend time with at the weekends visiting the outdoors and going for walks in the sunshine.

I have worked at Waycroft since September 2007 when I joined the admin team as the Bursar. Prior to this I worked in three very different educational settings; a Junior School in Nailsea, a preparatory school in Clifton and a large boarding school in Clifton.

I work closely with the Executive Headteacher and three Heads of School, dealing with all things financial, HR, Payroll & Pensions and Sites & Buildings. There is never a dull moment!

In my spare time I am a very ‘hands on’ grandmother to four energetic boys!

I joined Waycroft Multi Academy Trust in October 2018. This is my first role within the education sector, having previously worked at Avon and Somerset Constabulary.

I work part-time and I assist the HR & Payroll manager in administration duties such as recruitment and processing payroll forms.

I live with my husband and two children. I enjoy spending time with my family and discovering new places for us to explore.
